And I'm Back!

I had a wonderful time in Boston, probably one of my favorite trips of all time. It was trying, and it tested many emotions, but it was so good for me and my relationship with God and people. I am so sad to be home. Next time our church sends a team, I doubt I'd even hesitate to go. I came home with such a heart of compassion for the people of Boston. Thanks for your prayers. I don't have time to post much now, but later I will. And I will also be posting pics. I took about 300, but don't worry, I'll only post some!

Sarah, I just wanted to let you know I will be praying for you and your mom. What an amazing woman you are to have such a heart after God's people at such a young age. I commented on your mom's blog with my two cents about the trip. God changed my life when I went on my trip. He showed me just how powerful and big He really is. I saw actual miracle after miracle happen in my life.

I can't carry a clipboard here without pain - I carried 40-70 pounds of bibles there without any pain. I have migraines here all the time - none there. I get lost in Indiana, PA (literally). Ok, I did get lost in Hong Kong, but it was wonderful. I didn't panic. I knew that no one in the world knew where I was only God. For about 15-20 minutes I was completely lost and completely found at the same time. To know that God did not take me to the other side of the world for me to be lost, to hold onto His promises, to know that He had the answer, that was the safest place on earth for me to be. I took a few minutes and just sat down and said, "I am on vacation with God. Just you and me Lord. What an adventure this will be. I trust you with every step." A few minutes later the Lord revealed to me how to get out of my situation.

I came home and I can't tell you how many times people have reminded me (even years later) that the God I saw in China is the same God I serve back here. It stirs my faith when praying for people and when I am in the valley of a trial.

I can't wait to hear all of your stories. I know they will be life changing.

I will be praying for you. A couple more days and you will be "planting your garden..."
