I always hate to post anything funny, because I'm easily amused and sometimes, well, things I find funny aren't the least bit funny to others and it's a little embarrassing to actually laugh at something that's not funny to anyone else.
But anyway, most of you probably don't know that my mom sometimes talks in her sleep. In Russia I happened to wake up in the middle of the night, feeling horrible (I was pretty sick for about a day and a half). It was fairly quiet and then my mom, in her sleep, incoherently begins "talking." It was really a strange babble, and something I can't write. The noise is one that could only be done in person. Sorry. That was one of the few times I've heard my mom say anything in her sleep. Anyway, that leads up to tonight.
My mom fell asleep on the sofa in the same room. I was playing a game with Joel on the computer and all of a sudden we hear, "What color is the pizza?" Yes, mom was talking in her sleep. There was nothing more to what she said. Well, I started laughing, which made Joel start giggling, and before we knew it, we both lost it. We were doubled over. As light a sleeper as she is, I can't believe our laughing two feet from her ear did not wake her up.
The End. Good night.
P.s. If you didn't laugh, that's okay. I'll never know. And I know some stories like this are "had to be there" jokes. Another reason I don't usually post funnies. Plus, I think God used her sleep talking to make me laugh, knowing I needed a good laugh to relieve some of the sadness I've had ever since getting back.
